What We Believe

1. We believe in ONE God, the Creator of all things, comprised of Father, Son (the Word), and the Holy Ghost, as revealed in the scriptures. (Deuteronomy 6:4).

2. We believe the divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible as the Word of God, serving as our ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16).

3. We believe in salvation and the forgiveness of sins that only comes by the blood of Jesus Christ by sincere repentance, turning away from sin and living a life that's dedicated to the Lord. (1 John 1:9)

4. We believe in the ongoing process of sanctification in the life of the believer through the transformative power of the Holy Ghost, conforming us to the image of Christ. (1Thessalonians 5:23; Galatians 4:19).

5. We believe in water baptism by immersion in water as a symbolic act of obedience, signifying our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6).

6. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and that it's a distinct experience from salvation. (Acts 2:4)

7. We believe in all nine gifts of the spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12:8-11.

8. We believe that every believer should have evidence of the fruit of the Spirit at work within their lives. (Galatians 5:22-24)

9. We stand against all forms of evil and sexual immorality. We stand against the use of alcohol and habit-forming drugs; including marijuana and tobacco in accordance with biblical teachings and that once a person gives their heart to the Lord, they should strive to be free from such things. (1 Pet 3:11; James 1:21;1 Cor 6:9-11 Gal 4:1)

10. We embrace the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the equipping of the saints and the edification of the body of Christ
(Ephesians 4:11-12).

11. We believe in the virgin birth and the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as essential components of the gospel message. (Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

12. We believe in the imminent literal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment, with believers destined for a literal heaven and the unrighteous for a literal hell. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Mathew 25:46)
13. We believe that once someone accepts Jesus Christ, they should join a body of believers, walking in newness of life, and actively participating in the church. (Hebrews 10:25)
